We are in the extreme darkness because we lack peace and happiness in our life despite huge advancement in science and technology. God gives us the third eye of knowledge to be ever happy and peaceful. It is the character that distinguishes between the deities and devils and not the physical features. Four hands and the double greedom represents the pure family path and the 10 headed Raavan represents the impure family path. People have no love for God during the time of destruction which is why all their discoveries lead to destruction. 

 Not everything that we see is maya but the vices attached to all the things is maya so  remove maya completely to be happy like deities. It is because that the body is created out of vice , it is giving sorrow because of diseases. The same applies to wealth accumulated through vices. All decorations like conch shell, swadarshan chakra, maze and lotus belongs to brahmins and not deities. It is the law that everything should become old and god comes to make it new and now is the time to become new hence make use of this time by knowing its value. You can accumulate more spiritual wealth by doing the godly service with great enthusiasm with true heart and not for the sake of publicity. Always have the unlimited attitude of doing good for everybody and not for just you or your fellow members alone. Only then you will be called the friend and server of the whole world like the father. True Yogi sees no difference  between the praise and insult, respect and disrespect, Profit and loss.
